To the editor:
We are writing this letter in support of Dana Krug’s candidacy for West Windsor-Plainsboro School Board. As with many of us busy parents, we first met Dana more than 6 years ago through our kid’s activities. One thing that was initially apparent was that Dana is present and involved in nearly every activity and event with which our children are involved. Whether it be a baseball game, dance classes, the basketball courts or school plays, Dana is always involved in making sure that events run smoothly and that the experience for the kids is as enriching as it can be.
Over time, we have gotten to know Dana as a thoughtful, pragmatic person who is open to ideas and committed to making a positive impact on everything with which she is involved. Between her involvement with the school PTSA’s, running a regional baseball tournament and advocating for the town library, she is extremely active in contributing to the community.
As a mother of three children who attend district schools, Dana has a parent’s perspective and through her experience in her first term on the WW-P School Board, she also has a direct understanding of the WW-P educational system.
These experiences, coupled with her professional background in contract negotiations and fiscal management will allow Dana Krug to serve the School Board well.
Dana has worked directly and effectively with students, parents and administrators. She is a tireless advocate for our children and the community as a whole and we are confident that she will continue to be an extremely effective member of the School Board.
