NEW HOPE: Sign with hookah on it taken from business

Someone took a sign with the "hookah" in it from the driveway of a South Main Street business, New Hope police were told at 4:36 p.m. Sept. 2.
The owner of the business said the sign was taken at some time during the prior 16 hours, someone had removed the 6-by-2-foot metal sign. It is valued at $350.
In other reports from New Hope police:
— At 12:34 p.m. Sept. 3 a West Mechanic Street resident reported to police that, at some time during the prior 24 hours, someone had removed a package containing medications, valued at about $150, from his mailbox.
— Police cited Frances Pisano, 54, of New Hope, for disorderly conduct at 9:13 p.m. Aug. 29 after she allegedly created a disturbance in the area of West Mechanic and New Streets.
— Police charged Nancy Gaines, 59, of Warminster, Pennsylvania, at 9:12 p.m. Aug. 31 for driving under the influence of alcohol, following a stop of her vehicle at Bridge and Main streets.
