All meals are served at noon at Hibernia Apartments in Lambertville. Reservations are required. Call 609-397-2228 24 hours in advance. The value of each meal is $5.10. Any amount donated over this is a tax-deductible contribution. All menus are subject to change and include milk and margarine. The sodium-controlled menu is the same unless otherwise noted.
Oct. 9 — Cream of spinach soup, breaded crab cake, baked potato, asparagus tips, minced coleslaw, pumpernickel roll, purple plums. Puzzle day.
Oct. 10 — Grape juice, stuffed green pepper, pasta spirals, mixed vegetables, fruit salad, dinner roll, cupcake with icing. Activity day.
Oct. 11 — Apple juice, chicken salad, rye bread, pickled beets and onions, fresh fruit, granola bar, milk.
Oct. 12 — Blended juice, roast beef and Swiss, Kaiser roll, pasta veggie salad, fresh fruit, black and white cookie, milk.
Oct. 13 — Closed.
Oct. 14 — Navy bean soup, garlic chicken breast, saffron rice, zucchini and squash, mesculin mix with berries, six-grain bread, red velvet cake. Cards.
Oct. 15 — Blended juice, eggplant rollatini, meatballs with sauce, sautéed spinach, romaine salad, Italian bread, banana. Puzzle day.
Oct. 16 — Chicken veggie soup, pepper steak, brown rice, seasoned baby carrots, pineapple rings, wheat bread, coconut cake. Bring and brag.
