St. John’s United Methodist Church will offer its annual blessing of the animals service from 11 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 2000 Florence Ave., Hazlet. The service will be held rain or shine at the front parking lot.
The church will also collect gently used towels, blankets and linens for the Monmouth
County SPCA to help keep its animals warm during cold weather.
Pets must be on leashes or in cages for everyone’s safety. Area rescues are also invited to bring dogs and cats for adoption at this time.
