Daryl W. Pedreira, 51, of North Brunswick, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Eastern Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia. Born in New Brunswick, he had lived in East Brunswick prior to moving to North Brunswick 22 years ago. He was a vault warehouse operator at the Ortho Division of Johnson & Johnson in Somerset for 18 years. Daryl was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church in North Brunswick and the football commissioner of the Money Pit. He was predeceased by his parents, Dario and Oleeta Brooks Pedreira; and his sister, Darla Pedreira. Surviving are his wife, Ivy Yager Pedreira; two brothers, Danny Pedreira of Tomball, Texas, and Ken Pedreira of Chander, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Dexter Yager and his wife, RoseAnne, of Yardley, Pa., and Frank Yager of Whiting; his nephew, Jason Yager and his wife, Megan, and their children, Aaron and Julia; and many other loving aunts and uncles from the Lone Star State. Funeral services were held at the Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick, followed by a Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church in North Brunswick. A private cremation followed.
