Morristown-based Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) has named Kieran Tintle to its external affairs team as area manager for portions of Monmouth County.
JCP&L area managers serve as external affairs liaisons with elected officials, and support community involvement activities. They are located in regional offices across the company’s service area to provide closer proximity to, and understanding of, the unique issues that face each community they serve, according to a press release.
Tintle, whose office is located in Union Beach, spent the last four years working in the New Jersey governor’s office, serving as director of legislative and departmental affairs and as a liaison in the legislative and intergovernmental affairs office. Prior to working for the state, he served as a legal research assistant at the Charleston School of Law.
“Kieran is well-established in creating and maintaining successful working relationships with municipal, county and state officials,” JCP&L Vice President of External Affairs Mark Jones said in the press release. “Adding his expertise to our team of highly qualified representatives will enhance JCP&L’s outreach and engagement on all levels.”
Tintle is a native of Bergen County. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the College of Charleston, S.C.
