Library has programs for children in October

The Middletown Township Public Library is offering various programs for young children and tweens during October at 55 New Monmouth Road. Registration is required for all programs by calling 732- 671-3700, ext. 340.

 “Meet the Masters” for children in grades K-5 will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 16. Learn about master composer Bach.

 “Crafternoon Leaf Masquerade” for children age 4-9 will be at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 22. Make a mask out of leaves.

 “Family Fall Fest” for all ages will be held from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 25. Enjoy autumnthemed activities, games, music and fun. Bring a camera.

 “Halloween Movie Night” for children age 5 and up will begin at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 28.

 “Paperback Monsters” for children age 9-12 will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 29. Create a monster using a recycled paperback book.

 “Everyone Loves a Halloween Parade” for ages 2-5 will begin 10 a.m. Oct. 31. Wear a costume, decorate treat bags and then parade around the library.
