Literacy Volunteers of Somerset County is presenting a Sleepy Hollow Soiree on Oct. 24 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Bridgewater Library, 1 Vogt Drive.
Hosted by the Somerset County Library System, the evening features a Raconteur Radio production of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," including theatrical lighting, period costumes and vintage commercials. The event also includes wine, hors d’oeuvres, dessert, wine grab bag and gift basket raffle.
Tickets are $60/person, or $55/person if purchased by Oct. 10.
All proceeds benefit Literacy Volunteers of Somerset County’s adult literacy programs. For more than 30 years, LVSC has provided one-to-one and small-group tutoring in basic literacy and English as a Second Language.
