Road repaving projects will affect driving patterns in the next weeks.
Starting today, Oct. 16, South Branch Road between Beekman Lane and River Road will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for a county project that should be completed in about two weeks.
After it finishes there, the same contractor shift to repave Amwell Road between Clerico Lane and Woods Road on the same nighttime schedule.
Starting Oct. 20 Homestead Road will be closed for about two weeks between Railroad and Willow roads. It will only be closed to through-traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Township Committee also rejected two bids for a Triangle Road paving project and will try again in the spring. The bids came in higher than township engineering estimates.
