Ghost hunting will be discussed by L’Aura Hladik Hoffman of the New Jersey Ghost Hunters Society at 7 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Jackson Library, 2 Jackson Drive. Hoffman will discuss the haunted hot spots of the Garden State and New York City, based on her America’s Haunted Road Trip series. Included in this presentation are Charlie Brown’s restaurant, the Hotel Belvidere, the Proprietary House, Snug Harbor, the Van Cortlandt mansion and the Palace Theater. The Jackson Rotary Club is sponsoring a bus trip to see the Bobby Vinton and Jimmy Sturr Christmas show at the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City on Dec. 3. The cost of the trip is $90, which includes bus transportation, beverages on the bus, the show ticket, a buffet lunch at the casino, $25 back in slot play and gratuity for the driver.
