 Surveillance cameras caught this image of the suspect. Surveillance cameras caught this image of the suspect. EDISON — The FBI is seeking help in identifying the person who robbed the PNC Bank inside the Stop & Shop grocery store on Route 1 in Edison.

A man went into the grocery store around 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24, heading straight to the PNC Bank teller counter. He presented a note demanding money and threatened that he had a gun, but he did not display it, according to officials at the FBI’s Newark Field Office.

The man left the store with an undisclosed sum of money.

The suspect is a white male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build, and in his late 20s or early 30s, according to authorities.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this robbery.
