Pallone secures 14th term in Congress

Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. (D-6), 13-term congressman and Long Branch native, won re-election to a 14th term on Nov. 4.

Pallone tallied 59,244 votes, besting Republican challenger Anthony Wilkinson’s 35,448 votes and Libertarian Dorit Goikhman’s 1,001 votes.

Pallone, who was first elected to Congress in 1988,  drew 62 percent of the vote, while Wilkinson and Goikhman received 37 percent and 1 percent, respectively.

He is the ranking member of the House Subcommittee on Health.
