Free flu shots: The Somerset County Board of Health and Manville Board of Health have scheduled a free flu shot clinic for Manville residents from 10 a.m. to noon at the Manville Public Library, 100 S. 10th Ave.

Fall bake sale: Sponsored by the Christ the Redeemer Altar Rosary Society at Sacred Heart Church, South Main and Filak streets, before and after the weekend Masses, beginning with the 6 p.m. Saturday Mass. Call 908-725-0072 for information.

Tree lighting: Borough’s official tree will be lighted in ceremony starting at 6:30 p.m. at Gazebo on Main Street. Rain date: Saturday, Nov. 29.

Slavic dinner: St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church holds monthly dinner, 4 to 7 p.m., St. Mary Parish Center, 1900 Brooks Blvd. $13 for adults (ages 9 and up) and $5 for children (8 and under). All-you-can-eat pirohi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes. A surprise entrée will be prepared by St. Mary’s chef John Pagano. Orders to go available. Recreation office hours: Monday, noon to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday, noon to 5 p.m., and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Friday. The recreation information line is 908-725-9478, ext. 119.
