ROBBINSVILLE: Local businesses celebrated with awards

ROBBINSVILLE — The township’s Economic Development Advisory Committee gathered together 200 local business and community leaders for its first Annual Business and Community Award celebration on Nov. 6. The event was hosted by the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Sanstha community at its recently dedicated Mandir.
Guests started the evening with a tour of the new temple and adjacent facilities, and were treated to a traditional Indian meal before the start of the award ceremony. Committee Vice Chairman Chase Taylor opened the Oscar-style award ceremony and served as the host for the evening, dishing up a mix of humor and praise for the business community.
“Successful local businesses are the lifeblood of any vibrant community,” said Mr. Taylor. “Robbinsville has been fortunate to attract and retain businesses that provide valuable goods and services to our residents, create jobs, and give back to the community through charitable endeavors. My committee expresses its deepest thanks to Mayor Dave Fried, Township Council and township administration, including Business Administrator Joy Tozzi, for all of their continued support and resources,” Mr. Taylor said.
