Historic Allentown NJ Clock being Restored!
Allentown, NJ: The Historic Farmers National Bank Clock in Allentown, New Jersey is being restored to working order after over a decade of it not working.  This historic clock was originally put into action by the now closed Farmers National Bank in 1929.  Eden Organics Salon & Spa now resides in the historic building and is having the clock restored.
Eden Organics owner Catherine Chamberlain says,” We have wanted to get the clock working since we began our business here in Allentown in 2012. It is an old O. B McClintock Company Clock and is just a wonderful piece of history. We can’t wait for the clock to once again light up and show the correct time!” The Allentown Community is very excited to have this piece of the town’s history preserved.  The clock will have many parts replaced and repaired and the delicate original stained glass of the clock will be removed for historical preservation.
The historic Allentown Clock is located at 9 N. Main St Allentown, NJ on the corner of Main St and Waker Avenue. Eden Organics Salon & Spa plans to have a community gathering for a “Clock Lighting” celebration.
