The Middlesex County Federation of Democratic Women will honor women in the military 7-9:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Clara Barton American Legion Post 324, 156 Brower Ave., off Amboy Avenue, Edison.
The evening will feature an all-women panel discussion concerning the challenges faced by women in the military and their unique concerns and needs once they are discharged. Panelists include women who were in the military.
Poetry written by William Koch, who lost his son in Afghanistan, will be on display.
