The Felician College women’s bowling team finished 20th at the Fairleigh Dickinson University Jamboree, held at Carolier Lanes over three days (Oct. 31 to Nov. 2).
Felician went 5-8 in dual matches for the weekend — 4-6 in traditional team matches and 1-2 during the Nov. 9 best-of-seven Baker game playoffs. The Golden Falcons are now 9-14 on the season (8-7 traditional, 1-7 Baker).
Two freshmen from Howell High School were impact bowlers at the Jamboree for the Golden Falcons. Kristin Natoli highlighted the meet by rolling a 233 in Match 10 for a team season-high. Classmate Michelle Gulino was the only Golden Falcon to break 200 twice with consecutive 209-211 efforts.
Teammates at Howell, Natoli and Gulino led the Rebels to four Shore Conference Division and four Monmouth County championships during their scholastic careers, as well as one NJSIAA Central Jersey championship.
Gulino was the high scorer at last year’s Monmouth County Championships, and Natoli set the Rebels’ school record for season average (210.3) and was a two-time qualifier for the NJSIAA individual state championship.
