A Fiction Writing Workshop will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike. The class will focus on style. Participants will develop understanding and practice such techniques as: avoiding jump shifts, employing dialogue and action to carry meaning to the reader, deleting adverbs and using stronger verbs.
