LAWRENCE: Police blotter

A Whitemarsh Drive resident reported the theft of an Echo chainsaw, valued at $200, from the garage at 11:49 a.m. Nov. 11. The garage door had been left open.
A pair of shoplifters walked out of the P.C. Richard and Sons store on Brunswick Pike with a 42-inch flat screen television set, valued at $498.71, at 5:36 p.m. Nov. 11.
The man and the woman entered the store, walked around and left. They returned and parked in front of the store entrance, went back into the store and removed the television set from a display area and put it in the car and drove off.
Dylan Genther, 18, of Monroe Township, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:46 p.m. Nov. 11 after suspected marijuana, a food scale and a grinder were found in his Olson Dorm room at Rider University.
Akshay Patel, 34, of Feiler Court, was charged with making false 911 calls, disorderly conduct and making threats to a public servant at 11:37 a.m. Nov. 11 for repeatedly making calls to the 911 emergency number after being told not to do so. He was also charged with making threats to a public servant after he said he would call his brother in India to scare President Barack Obama on his behalf.
A shoplifter took six bottles of laundry detergent, a 12-pack of Red Bull energy drinks and a pillow, worth a combined $150.49, from the ShopRite grocery store at the Mercer Mall between 5:33 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Nov. 11.
Eric Wright, 50, of Johnson Avenue, was charged with burglary, theft and credit card theft for entering a back room at the Super Deli Delikatesy on Brunswick Avenue at 7:22 a.m. Nov. 11 and removing a wallet, containing cash, credit cards and personal papers, that belonged to a Myrtle Avenue resident.
Kyle Barrett, 27, of Trenton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana at 12:47 a.m. Nov. 12 after he was stopped on Princeton Avenue. He was found to have outstanding warrants and he was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center.
A Hughes Avenue resident reported the theft of two Apple iPhones, worth a combined $1,580, from the residence at 11:14 p.m. Nov. 12. AT&T delivered the iPhones Nov. 5 and put them on the porch, but the victim never received them.
Jahkwon Fowler, 19, of Ewing Township, Billy White, 19, of Trenton, and Eddie Taylor, 18, of Trenton, were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana at 11:37 p.m. Nov. 12 after the car in which they were riding was stopped on the Trenton Freeway near Whitehead Road. Police found three marijuana cigarette butts in the cup holder and also found several baggies containing suspected marijuana.
Parneet Kaur, 25, of Bordentown, and Jasneel Bhatia, 25, of Edison, were charged with shoplifting clothing and jewelry valued at $545 from J.C. Penney at 4:04 p.m. Nov. 14. They entered a fitting room with the items and exited the fitting room 45 minutes later without them. They were stopped after they left the store, with the items concealed in handbags.
Gloria Rivas, 37, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting clothing worth $581.99 from J.C. Penney at 6:59 p.m. Nov. 14. She entered a fitting room with the clothing and left it without the clothing. A check of the fitting room revealed broken security sensors and ripped-off price tags, but no clothing.
Someone stole two television sets, a handbag containing a wallet, and three jackets, valued at a combined $3,150, from an apartment at the Meadow Woods complex on Lawrence Road between 9 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. Nov. 14. Entry was made through a first-floor window.
Two 16-year-old Trenton juveniles were charged with shoplifting a pair of Coach shoes worth $118 and a pair of Coach boots worth $128 from Macy’s at 3:44 p.m. Nov. 15. One girl put the shoes in her backpack and the other put the boots on and walked out of the store.
