More than 300 guests gathered recently to support the Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation at its annual Flavors of the Jersey Shore Food and Wine Festival at Pine Belt Chevrolet of Lakewood. Proceeds from the event, held in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will support cancer services at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus.
The event featured more than 35 food and beverage vendors from across the Jersey Shore region, including the VIP Food Salon Experience provided by celebrity chef Joe Leone, whose Point Pleasant-based Italian Specialty Store & Catering business has become the premier Italian culinary experience in the area.
“Not only is our annual event a great opportunity to taste a variety of food and wine choices from around the region, but it’s also a fun way to connect with others from the area while supporting a worthy cause,” said Denice Gaffney, vice president, Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation.
