PRINCETON AREA: Police blotter

Princeton
Aaron Levy, 33, of Princeton, was arrested on Trenton and Princeton Municipal Court warrants totaling $375 after police pulled him over on Nassau Street near Chambers Street at 11:08 p.m. on Nov. 17.
Someone siphoned 20 gallons of gas out of a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence of Fitch Way between Nov. 13 and Nov. 14.
Two juvenile males, ages 15 and 17, were taken into custody at Grover Park for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcoholic beverages at 3:42 p.m. on Nov. 19. They were brought to police headquarters and turned over to their parents.
Matthew Daily, 45, of Cranbury, was driving north on Moore Street near Franklin Avenue at 8:19 a.m. on Nov. 13 when a 16-year-old female ran across Moore Street into the front left side of his vehicle. His Mercedes ran over her right foot and she fell to the ground. Her father took her to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro where she was treated for foot pain and released. She received a summons for failure to cross within a crosswalk.
West Windsor
Power tools valued at $1,320 were stolen from the shed of a 75-year-old resident between Nov. 5 and Nov. 9.
An iPad Air 32 GB and keyboard value at $729 were stolen between Oct. 29 and Nov. 11 from Bristol Myers Squibb at 100 Nassau Park Blvd. The employee used the "Erase the iPhone" App to render the device useless.
Kiel J. Picolinski, 56, of Trenton, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. on Nov. 11 and charged with shoplifting at Wegmans Food Markets in the Nassau Park Pavilion after he allegedly took a tuna sub sandwich and a bottle of Brut sparkling wine valued at $25.88 without paying for them. The loss prevention officer was familiar with Mr. Picolinski since he had frequented the men’s restroom to sleep. The total value of items stolen (including four additional bottles of Brut sparking wine he allegedly took over a series of dates) was $105.84.
Someone smashed the passenger’s side front window of a vehicle parked at the Whole Foods Market parking lot before 4:42 p.m. on Nov. 14 and stole a Hewlett Packard laptop computer and black laptop computer bag valued at $860. The shattered window was valued at $300.
Ruchita Ruchita, 34, of Lawrenceville, was arrested at 8:27 p.m. on Nov. 14 after police pulled her over on North Post Road at Municipal Drive. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Plainsboro Township for $165.
Montgomery
Police were dispatched to Dominicus Court near Delmarvia Drive on a report of two individuals having an altercation in a red vehicle at 12:20 a.m. on Nov. 18. Officer Jason Clifford responded to the area and located a red car driving away from the area. He stopped the car and confirmed the male and female occupants of the vehicle had been the source of the disturbance. He determined that the driver, Hassan L. Mace, 35, of Franklin, had consumed alcoholic beverages prior to operating the vehicle. Mr. Mace was arrested for drunken driving and for several warrants from several different municipalities. He was released from custody by those municipalities pending future court dates.
Plainsboro
Sean W. Laone, 24, of Plainsboro, was arrested at 6:21 p.m. on Nov. 17 after police pulled him over on Hunters Glen Drive for allegedly driving recklessly and almost striking a pedestrian. Police detected the odor of alcohol and the odor of burnt marijuana. Mr. Laone was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, drunken driving, reckless driving, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
