Randolph A. Ginman died on Oct. 31, 2014, in the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland.
Randolph was born in Old Bridge on July 22, 1917. He served three and one-half years with the 29th Infantry Division as a staff sergeant. On D-Day, he landed in the first wave on Omaha Beach in Normandy, France. Wounded in action three times from the initial landing through the Siegfried Line in Germany, he spent several months in Army hospitals before his discharge in September 1945. Randolph then worked in the research laboratory of E.I. Dupont in Parlin for 43 years.
A member and trustee of the Union Bible Church of Brunswick Gardens, Randolph was the oldest living member of the Gospel Mission Corps.
A memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Union Bible Church, 620 Marlboro Road, Old Bridge. Donations may be sent to the Bible Church.
