The Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39 in Roebling will be having its annual Christmas dinner in place of its regularly scheduled December meeting.
The dinner will take place at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at Fratelli’s (formerly Stella’s) on Route 130 in Burlington. The cost is $30.
Dinner includes an appetizer, salad, pasta, as well as an entrée with potato and vegetable and a dessert.

Saint Nicholas Parish in Roebling will be holding its annual St. Nicholas Day dinner Sunday, Dec. 7, in the church hall at 12:30 p.m.
The menu will include homemade chicken soup, salad, stuffed cabbage, pierogis, noodles and cabbage and ham. Also included will be bread, coffee and dessert.

Saints Francis and Clare Altar Rosary Society is collecting nonperishable food items and/or monetary donations for its Thanksgiving food drive to assist those in need in the community.

The Township of Florence will hold its annual Christmas tree lighting event Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Florence Township Municipal Complex, 711 Broad St., Florence.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit, and the Florence Township Memorial High School Band will perform holiday tunes. Treats will be provided for the children.
The Florence Township Chapter of Deborah will have a car drawing Dec. 5.
