Get Into the Holiday Spirit with Town and Country’s "Holiday Show"

By Jesse Roy
BUCKINGHAM – On December 13 and 14, Town and Country Players are bringing popular Disney characters to life in their annual, musical variety “Holiday Show.” Prep and Landing, an elite unit of elves, and Elves on a Shelf, will be setting the stage for Santa, as the cast sings and dances its way through popular songs.
Families will recognize Elsa, Anna and Olaf from Disney’s movie, “Frozen.” These characters, played by Kelly Slota, Keith Kirkner, Sarah Mayer, Nina Sigety and Bill Hoblin, will sing, “Do You Want To Build A Snowman,” “Love Is An Open Door,” and “Let It Go.” There will also be a few songs children will know from the popular movie, “The Polar Express.”
The “Holiday Show” will have characters and songs older audience members will recognize as well. Tom McFarland and Joe Perignat will appear as the Smothers Brothers. Karen Abrams, Melanie Eyth, Carly Price and Colby Langweiler will dance their way through “Jingle Bell Rock.” And of course there will be traditional favorites the whole family will be able to sing along with.
This is the third time Keith Soester and Sharon Rill-Soester have teamed up to create T&C’s “Holiday Show.” Keith says, “The first year was so great. I was left asking, how am I going to top that?”
This year, they have topped it. Keith and Sharon teamed up with the talented pianist, Jeff Wilson. “Jeff brings new ideas and inspiration to the collaboration,” says Sharon. “We are thrilled with the outcome. This show is going to be a lot of fun!”
The “Holiday Show” plays December 13 at 8:00pm and December 14 at 3:00pm at St Cyril’s Social Hall, 1410 Almshouse Rd, Jamison. Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $10 for children. They are available through www.townandcountryplayers.org or by calling 1-800-838-3006.
