HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP: New Hope woman injured in two-car crash

At 11:27 a.m. today (Dec. 1), the Hopewell Township Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on Washington Crossing-Pennington Road (Route 546) near George Washington Drive, according to Lance D. Maloney, chief of police.
Terri L. Ledva, 52, of New Hope, was driving a 2011 Lexus sedan east on Route 546 when her vehicle crossed over into the westbound lane of travel striking a 2014 Chrysler 300, driven by Duncan Lamb, 59, of Pennington.
Hopewell Valley Emergency Services personnel and the Pennington First Aid Squad responded to the scene.
Ms. Ledva was transported to an area hospital for head and chest pain.
Mr. Lamb was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries.
Route 546 between Bear Tavern Road and Jacobs Creek Road was closed for approximately 90 minutes.
The crash is under investigation by Officer Louis Vastola, of the Hopewell Township Police Department.
Ms. Ledva was issued a summons for failure to maintain lane, the chief reported.
