Holiday entertainment will be supplied by singer and DJ Gary Morton at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Manville Senior Citizens Center in the Fire Company No. 1 at 20 South Third Ave.
The senior center is normally open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
A suggested lunch donation of $2 is recommended for individuals age 60 and older. The cost of lunch for those younger than age 60 is $6.50. Call 908-369-8700 before 10:30 a.m. the day before to make a lunch reservation.
Transportation is available for those who do not drive.
Bingo is played every Wednesday at 11:15 a.m.
Birthdays are celebrated on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
An aerobic chair exercise class is held every Monday and Wednesday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Low-impact aerobic exercise classes Thursdays, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Both are sponsored by the Manville Recreation Department.
A Zumba Gold exercise class is held Tuesdays, 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Thurs., Dec. 4 — "Healthy Holiday Delights" by dietician Rachel Simpers of Shoprite/Wakefern. Learn about produce-based holiday dishes and enjoy an appetizer sampling.
Fri., Dec. 5 — Visit to the Hillsborough Senior Center for the "Holidays Around the World," 10:30 a.m. Learn about December holidays and customs celebrated all over the world. Enjoy holiday music, informative displays, prizes and a special holiday lunch. Call early for reservations as this event will sell out).
Mon., Dec. 8 — "Holiday Songs You Know by Heart" by Josie Mescallado, Home Instead Senior Care. She will sing a collection of holiday favorites to get you in the holiday spirit.
Tues., Dec. 9 — Performance by the Hillsborough Rocket and Rockettes, 10:30 a.m.
Wed., Dec. 10 — "Protect Yourself by Learning Self-Defense Techniques." Somerville Police Officer Tim Franks will offer advice about maintaining your personal safety everywhere you go.
Thurs., Dec. 11 — Center closed for in-service day.
Fri., Dec. 12 — Visit to the Quail Brook Senior Center for "Let it Snow" holiday celebration with entertainment by singer & comedian Jerry Castaldo, 10:30 a.m.
Mon., Dec. 15 — Dominoes with Al.
Tues., Dec. 16 — December birthday quiz.
Thurs., Dec. 18 — Performance by the Bridgewater Roxies.
Dec. 18 and 19 — Display by the Hillsborough Quilters, a group of women who have been meeting monthly for several years. They have made and donated more than 125 quilts to area charities or agencies. Quilts displayed at the Manville Senior Center will be donated to the Agape House in Somerville.
