 The CentraState Fitness and Wellness Center and CentraState Medical Center will host a free community health fair and food tasting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 6 at the fitness and wellness center, 901 W. Main St., Freehold Township. Activities will include food tastings from local restaurants, health screenings, a fashion show featuring Sportnduck and Lola’s, Zumba, healthy cooking demonstrations, a magic show by Super Magic Man Eliot and more. All are welcome to attend.

 DeBows United Methodist Church, 509 Monmouth Road (Route 537), Jackson, will sponsor a living Nativity scene, complete with animals, at 5 and 6 p.m. Dec. 13. The adult choir, scripture readings and a light and sound show will also be featured. Soup and chili will be served after each performance. No admission fee. Details: 732- 928-4475.

 The Jewish Heritage Museum, 310 Mount’s Corner Drive, Freehold Township, in conjunction with its current exhibit, “Jersey Homesteads to Roosevelt: An Experiment in Cooperative Living,” will present a lecture by Roosevelt historian Michael Ticktin, “The History and Architecture of Roosevelt, N.J.,” at 2 p.m. Dec. 7.  The Heart of New Jersey Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, will present “A Salute to America” at 3 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Millstone Township Primary School, 18 Schoolhouse Road, Millstone. Tickets are $15 for adults or $12 for seniors and children under 12. Details: 917-816- 2127.

 The Allentown High School Symphonic Band Winter Concert and fifth annual “Sip Some Soup Supper” will be held in the high school cafeteria on Dec. 11 beginning at 5 p.m. All you can eat fresh breads, desserts and gourmet soups, prepared by local restaurants and parents, will be served. Tickets for supper are $10 for adults, $5 for children, and $30 for a family of four and will be available for purchase at the door. Various ensembles will provide entertainment throughout the evening, followed by the free winter concert beginning at 7 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Allentown Food Pantry.
