The CentraState Fitness and Wellness Center and CentraState Medical Center will host a free community health fair and food tasting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 6 at the fitness and wellness center, 901 W. Main St., Freehold Township. Activities will include food tastings from local restaurants, health screenings, a fashion show featuring Sportnduck and Lola’s, Zumba, healthy cooking demonstrations, a magic show by Super Magic Man Eliot and more. All are welcome to attend.
DeBows United Methodist Church, 509 Monmouth Road (Route 537), Jackson, will sponsor a living Nativity scene, complete with animals, at 5 and 6 p.m. Dec. 13. The Allentown High School Symphonic Band Winter Concert and fifth annual “Sip Some Soup Supper” will be held in the high school cafeteria on Dec. 11 beginning at 5 p.m. All you can eat fresh breads, desserts and gourmet soups, prepared by local restaurants and parents, will be served. Tickets for supper are $10 for adults, $5 for children, and $30 for a family of four and will be available for purchase at the door. Various ensembles will provide entertainment throughout the evening, followed by the free winter concert beginning at 7 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Allentown Food Pantry.
