William P. Burgoa, 38, of Union City was arrested for several warrants on Dec. 19 in Lambertville.
Lt. Robert Brown stopped Mr. Burgoa in the area of Route 202 and Alexauken Creek Road, at 5:21 p.m. for speeding. Mr. Burgoa was arrested after checks revealed traffic warrants for Mr. Burgoa issued from municipal courts in Bloomfield Township, Leonia and Union City. Mr.Burgoa paid $185 bail to Union City Municipal Court and released on own recognizance on the two other warrants.
Mr. Burgoa was charged with speeding and driving with a suspended driver’s license. Mr. Burgoa was later released with a pending court date.
Sebastian Sapon, 31 of Philadelphia was arrested on Dec. 19 for a warrant.
Patrolman Michael Gramlich stopped Mr. Sapon in the area of Route 29 and the Golden Nugget Flea Market, at 11:20 p.m., after the vehicle failed to keep to the right. Subsequent to investigation Mr. Sapon was found to have an active traffic warrant for his arrest issued from Hopewell Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $745. Mr. Sapon was able to make bail. Mr. Sapon was issued summonses for unlicensed driver and having suspended driving privileges. Mr. Sapon was later released with pending a pending court date.
Walter H. Barger Jr., 34 of Hamilton, was arrested on a warrant on Dec. 21.
Patrolman Matthew Bast stopped Mr. Barger in the area of Route 29 and the Golden Nugget Flea Market, at 10:18 p.m. after seeing a brake light malfunction on the vehicle Mr. Barger was operating, police said.
Mr. Barger was found to have a criminal court warrant relating to an harassment charge from Trenton Municipal Court in the amount of $2,500. Mr. Barger was released on own by Trenton Municipal Court and issued a new court appearance date.
Police also reported that Meredith L. Bull, 30, of Seattle was arrested for driving under the influence on Dec. 24.
Lt. Brown stopped Ms. Bull in the area of Route 518 and Old Route 518 at 12:54 a.m. after observing a headlight out on Ms. Bull’s vehicle.
Police said Ms. Bull was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest. Bull was charged with DUI, refusal, careless driving, and failure to maintain lamps. She was released with a pending court date.
