POLICE BLOTTER: Jan. 1

    Constance Brown, 50, of Cranbury was charged with cocaine possession along with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 near Washington Boulevard at 11:34 p.m. Dec. 19. Police stopped Ms. Brown’s vehicle after observing an alleged unsafe lane change. After failing field sobriety tests Ms. Brown was arrested and subsequently charged with possession of a small amount of cocaine, possession of prescription drugs, careless driving, reckless driving, having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and making an unsafe lane change in addition to DWI. She was released pending a court appearance. 
    Glen Tomasz, 32, of Trenton was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Union Street near Brunet Crescent at 12:12 a.m. Dec. 21, police reported. Mr. Tomasz was also charged with reckless and careless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, driving while suspended and having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. He was released pending a court appearance. 
    Appiah Prince, 43, was charged with driving while intoxicated after police stopped his vehicle on Route 33 near Route 130. He was also charged with refusing to submit to a breath test, reckless and careless driving, failure to maintain a lane and failure to signal a turn. He was released pending a court appearance. 
    Rivera Maritza, 37, of Robbinsville was charged with driving while intoxicated when police stopped her vehicle on Washington Boulevard near Wyndham Place at 12:12 a.m. on Dec. 21. She was also charged with careless and reckless driving, speeding and failure to stop at at stop sign. She was released pending a court appearance. 
