   The Bordentown City Green Team meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Carslake Community Center, 209 Crosswicks Road.

   ZUMBA classes take place Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Jacksonville Community Center in Bordentown Township.

Mon., Jan. 19
   A Mass and healing service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary Church Bordentown City.
   During the Mass, a collection will be taken for Father Tom and his ministry. Following the Mass will be individual prayer and Laying On of Hands for the sick.
   Father Tom is an author, speaker on divine mercy and ministers in the gift of healing. Following the Mass and Laying On of Hands, a reception will take place in the cafeteria.

Mon., Feb. 2
   Holy Cross Lutheran Preschool’s annual open house and registration will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the school at 280 Crosswicks Road, Bordentown.
   Enrollment for preschool will be open to the public; registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
   Meet the Christian teachers, tour the facilities and view the developmentally appropriate curriculum for both the 3- and 4-year old programs.

Sat., Feb. 21
   Light rail trip: D&R Canal, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
   Join Barbara Ross for a tour by light rail into the 19th century. Meet at the Bordentown RiverLINE light rail station at 9:15 a.m. (turn left into parking lot at 100 W. Park Street at Prince Street, above the boat landing), purchase tickets and receive a brief introduction before boarding the train for Trenton.
   The train follows the path of the D&R Canal from Crosswicks Creek to Trenton. See the abandoned canal, Watson’s Creek and the Abbott Marshlands.
   In Trenton where Route 129 is on the former route of the canal, remains of the industrial and commercial buildings can be compared with earlier photos.
   Tickets are $1.50 (70 cents for seniors); the current one-way-only provision may apply so be prepared to pay double the amounts. Bring exact change.

   The Florence United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 209 Broad St., Florence, is open Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

   Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 has bingo every Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
   Doors open at 5 p.m. There is a progressive jackpot, and food is available for purchase.
   The lodge has sandwich night every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The price is $6 per person.
   Lodge 2085 hosts a breakfast the third Sunday of every month from 8 to 11 a.m.
   All proceeds benefit the Special Children’s Committee.
   The Consolidated Fire Association will sponsor bingo every Wednesday night at St. Mary’s School starting Sept. 18. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the games will start at 7 p.m.

   Bordentown Regional School District is offering a full-day, tuition-based early education program for children 4 or older.

   The club meets the first and third Monday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Senior Community Center on Municipal Drive. All township seniors age 55 and older are welcome.
