Before the Super Bowl, why not indulge in a gourmet rice bowl? Before sulking about the lack-luster wings that your friend brought to your game-day party, why not come and experience what real wings are supposed to taste like? New Brunswick’s premiere purveyors of surf-inspired sustenance, Shaka Burrito, will be hosting their grand opening celebration on Friday January 30, serving great food and good vibes to kick off your Super Bowl weekend. Although they’ve been proudly serving New Brunswick at their location on 120 Albany Street for a little less than year, this Friday will be their official Aloha to the community. The event will begin at 4pm, giving you yet another reason to start the weekend early.
In addition to their full menu of fresh and innovative recipes, signature cocktails and craft beers, guests can enjoy a buy-one-get-one appetizer special and happy-hour pricing until 7pm. “We’re really hoping to see a mix of people this Friday,” says Shaka Manager of Operations Mike Norris. “We’ve already made a connection with a lot of people in New Brunswick, and now we’re just hoping to make this the go-to spot for as many people as possible, whether it’s a place where they bring the family, a place for a romantic dinner with your significant other or a place to meet a friend or colleague for an after-work drink. I think we can do it all here.”
