To the editor:
I recently saw a letter in the Beacon from a couple from Italy who were singing the praises of Al Dente, a new authentic Italian restaurant in Hillsborough’s Triangle Center. My husband and I decided to try it for Valentine’s Day. We couldn’t have been happier with the experience!
The restaurant offered a price-fixed Valentine’s Day special for less than $40 per person. For that, we got two appetizers apiece, a pasta course with two kinds of pasta, a choice of a half dozen entrees, plus dessert and coffee. The food was excellent, as was the service, and the ambiance was just right. Just BYOB.
If you’re looking for great food at reasonable prices, give Al Dente a try. Enjoy and help support a small business in town.
