The police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of passing counterfeit $100 bills throughout the area.
The black male has been presenting cashiers with old-style counterfeit $100 bills, all bearing the serial number B03411590A, according to the Bordentown Township Police Department.
The suspect passed a counterfeit $100 bill at the Jimmy John’s sandwich shop in West Windsor on Dec. 30.
He passed another counterfeit $100 bill at the Bottom Dollar Supermarket in Bordentown on Jan. 15.
March 2, he passed counterfeit $100 bills at a Rite Aid and A&P supermarket in Clinton Township.
The United States Secret Service has indicated this bill has a record of 87 passes in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, originating Nov. 29 in Pennsylvania.
