Christie is not the man for the presidency

As a 70-year-old, conservative, selfemployed Vietnam veteran, I feel I must share my anger with regard to Chris Christie.

He is a fake, wannabe politician. He is always looking at the next step up rather than finishing what he started, or starting what he promised the voters he would start.

If the national Republican Party nominates Mr. Christie for a run at the presidency, I will withdraw from the Republican Party.

Originally being from the South, with a strong family presence still there, I can assure everyone he does not play well south of Delaware, west of Pennsylvania or north of Connecticut.

The South still thinks the New Jersey state vehicle is a Lincoln Continental. Most there view Mr. Christie as a bully, thug, loudmouth Soprano wannabe. This will most assuredly usher in another eight years of either a Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush disaster.

Debt will grow; the economy will remain stagnant; and immigration will overwhelm welfare, Social Security, education and health care, and lower the bar for the average American worker — if there are any left.

Remember, some politicians believe they were “selected” to lead, while good politicians believe they were “elected” to serve. Just say “no” to Christie, Hillary and Jeb and look to a new future of young, strong leaders.
