The Florence Township Memorial High School Parent’s Organization is sponsoring a Spring Fashion Extravaganza, featuring prom fashions modeled by the senior class and casual clothes modeled by underclassman, March 20 at 7 p.m.
The entrance fee of $5 goes to support extracurricular club activities for students.
In addition to the fashion show, there will be a basket raffle featuring prom-related items and donations provided by local businesses.
Margo Mattis, president of the Burlington County American Legion Auxiliary executive board, will be honored at a testimonial dinner to be held at Charlie’s Other Brother on April 19.
Ms. Mattis was president of the Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39 in Roebling for the last four years.
The dinner will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. The cost per person is $37. Dinner entrees are either prime rib, chicken or baked flounder.
Unit 39 is calling all members and friends to try to attend to show support of Ms. Mattis’ accomplishments.

The regular American Legion Post 39 Shrimp Night dinner April 3 has been postponed until April 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. due to the observance of Good Friday.
The annual Legion Post 39 ham and cabbage dinner will be held March 19 at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per person.
Both events will take place at Roebling American Legion, 112 4th Ave., Roebling.
St. Mary’s Romanian Byzantine Catholic Church in Roebling will have a stuffed cabbage sale Saturday, March 21.
Pickup time will be from 1 to 4 p.m.

Trinity United Methodist Church/Awaken School of Performing Arts provides individualized music instruction, music theory, children music workshop, a band workshop and more.
Individualized instrument instruction costs $20 per half-hour weekly and $35 per hour weekly. Music theory group sessions cost $15.

A free home security program for seniors age 60 and over is being offered by the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department.
Crime prevention specialists will install door locks, window locks and peepholes and will make sure homes have carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors and emergency interior lights.
