Restaurants set to offer ‘Taste of Middlesex’

EDISON — More than 50 restaurants, gourmet food vendors and beverage distributors will come together to collectively offer a “Taste of Middlesex” at the 18th annual tasting event.

The festivities are hosted by the Edison Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Pines Manor, where the event will be held 5:30-8 p.m. March 30.

“We’re thrilled to once again have so many great restaurants and eateries providing their awesome creations at the 18th annual Taste of Middlesex,” Edison Chamber President Nathan Rudy said. “Edison has such an amazingly diverse food lineup that this is an event no one should miss.”

Attendees are offered unlimited culinary samplings, including Korean barbecue, Italian standards, American fare, vegetarian Indian dishes, wines from around the world and more, according to the Edison Chamber of Commerce.

Confirmed food vendors include Cookie Rush, Crowne Plaza, JFK Medical Center, La Bonbonniere Bake Shop, Lola Latin Bistro, Maggiano’s Little Italy, New Keum Ho Jung, Novita, Pines Manor, Quaker Steak & Lube, Raritan Bakers, Rita’s Italian Ice, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Robertet Flavors Inc., Rosetta’s Farm Spices, Seasons 52 and more.

Wine and spirits vendors will include ASM Brands and Wine Chateau.

Also included in the event’s lineup are Mayor Thomas Lankey and Edison Police Chief Thomas Bryan.

The event is sponsored in part by Columbia Bank, Geico, Santander Bank and Colavita.

Tickets for the annual buffet event are $50 per person, with discounts to $45 for seniors age 65 or older and for groups of 10 or more.
