Andrick P. Siegmund, Lauren N. Slater Lauren N. Slater of New York City, daughter of Gail M. and Howard F. Slater of East Brunswick, became engaged to marry Andrick P. Siegmund of New York City, son of Donna and Gus Siegmund of Pleasant Ridge, Michigan.
Ms. Slater, a graduate of East Brunswick High School, received a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Boston University and a master’s degree in teaching English from Fordham University. She is employed as a writing teacher at KIPP Infinity Middle School, New York City. The future bride is also a Teach for America and AmeriCorps alumna.
Mr. Siegmund, a graduate of Ferndale High School, Ferndale, Michigan, received a bachelor’s degree of fine arts in acting from Wayne State University, Detroit. He is employed as a restaurant manager at Stella 34 Trattoria, New York City. The future groom is also an amateur beer brewer.
A wedding in upstate New York is planned for 2016. Francisco Cuevas, best friend of the couple, will perform the ceremony.
