Program to highlight Holocaust remembrance

A Holocaust Remembrance Day Program will be held at Highland Park Public Library, 31 North 5th Ave., Highland Park, at 7 p.m. April 16.

Rabbi Bernard Rosenberg, who is one of the pioneering voices for Holocaust and genocide education, will serve as presenter. Working in the Jewish and secular communities, he has been fighting for human rights, respectful Holocaust commemoration and preventing genocide. He is a professor of communications at Yeshiva University and a part-time lecturer at Rutgers University. Rosenberg is the author of “The Holocaust As Seen Through Film” and the spiritual leader of Congregation Beth El of Edison.
