The Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre will present its third annual Feria De Sevilla (“April Fair of Seville”) 2-5 p.m. May 3 at Parker Press Park, 428 Rahway Ave., Woodbridge. Rain date is May 9.
The dance and live music festival will celebrate Spain’s cultural heritage. Highlights will include live flamenco music and traditional flamenco dances performed by Alborada’s professional company. There will be educational workshops, food and drink, children’s arts and crafts, and more, all Spanish-style. Admission to the festival is free of charge.
New this year is a call to artists in all media to attend the festival and create original artwork inspired by the event. The art may be submitted for an upcoming curated exhibit at the Barron Arts Center, Woodbridge.
