The Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education has awarded bids that will provide for partial roof replacements at four district high schools.
At a recent board meeting, bids were approved for the following schools: Howell High School ($1,447,000; USA General Contractors), Manalapan High School ($1,315,000; Pravco Inc.), Colts Neck High School ($584,239; Barrett, E.R.), and Freehold Township High School ($923,500; Pravco Inc.).
District administrators said 40 percent of the cost of each project will be covered by the state through the New Jersey School Development Authority (SDA) Regular Operating District grant program.
