The Brandeis National Committee, Middlesex Chapter, will present a program titled “The Life and Times of JFK” at 1 p.m. May 13 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center.
Marty Alboum, a lecturer at the Lifelong Learning Institute at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, will review John F. Kennedy’s life and career and discuss how historians and the public view the former president today.
Admission is free of charge. The public is invited to attend.
The committee’s May Social Justice Collection will benefit Eyes for the Needy and victims of domestic violence (through the police department).
Guests are asked to bring used eyeglasses and cellphones to support the causes.
