Middlesex County College, 2600 Woodbridge Ave., Edison, will host a discussion about the PARCC exam at 7 p.m. May 7 in the College Center cafeteria.
Speakers include Darcie Cimarusti, who serves as communications and outreach coordinator for Network for Public Education, which is associated with Diane Ravitch, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Education. Author of the education blog “Mother Crusader,” she is also a member of the Highland Park Board of Education.
Also featured will be Bobbie Theivakumaran, a Metuchen parent and Save Our Schools NJ organizer. She is a founding member of Metuchen Cares About Schools and of Highland Park Cares About Schools.
Erin McCaffrey of the Middlesex County Education Association will also join the conversation.
