RE/MAX has been honored as a leading global franchisor. In the 2015 Franchise Direct Top 100 Global Franchise survey, RE/MAX is ranked No. 12 among such respected franchises as Subway, 7-Eleven, Hilton Hotels and Hertz.
“To see the RE/MAX name mentioned along with such great brands is a tribute to our many hard-working affiliates in nearly 100 different countries,” said Dave Liniger, CEO, chairman of the board and cofounder of RE/MAX. “For 42 years, we’ve made a commitment to developing a business model that serves consumers in a variety of business environments around the world.”
For three years in a row, RE/MAX has been the highest-ranked real estate franchise on the Franchise Direct Top 100 list. This year, only two other real estate franchises made the cut. Century 21 held the 31st spot and Coldwell Banker came in 52nd.
Now in its seventh year, the Franchise Direct survey considers a number of qualifications to arrive at a final ranking of global franchises, including the number of franchise units, revenue, growth and longterm stability. The survey’s methodology also considers “a commitment to training and support … and the ability to keep pace with ever-changing social and economic conditions.”
RE/MAX offers its franchisees worldclass training opportunities through RE/MAX University, a 24/7, on-demand, worldwide platform. Franchisees also have access to many other proprietary technologies and resources.
“We’re proud to be an agent-centric network of top producers and we work very hard to provide the support they need as they reach for greater success,” Liniger added.
RE/MAX has also been recognized in several other recent franchise surveys. In January, Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 found RE/MAX to be the highest ranked real estate franchise for the third consecutive year. And last October, RE/MAX was named the leading real estate franchise in the Franchise Times Top 200 for the sixth year in a row. Also in October, for the seventh straight year, RE/MAX was the only real estate franchise ranked as one of the Top 50 Franchises for Minorities by the World Franchising Network.
Earlier this month, RE/MAX announced that its worldwide agent base had surpassed the 100,000 mark. And in 2014, the company sold five Master Franchises, which resulted in a global footprint of nearly 100 countries, a number greater than any of its real estate competitors.
