 The Monmouth County Park System will host its annual Walnford Day celebration from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 17 at Historic Walnford, 62 Walnford Road, Upper Freehold Township. This familyfriendly event will feature hands-on activities, old-fashioned games, exhibits and wagon rides. Demonstrations will include spinning and weaving, woodworking, blacksmithing and milling.  The MOMS Club of Hamilton holds a weekly playgroup from 10 a.m. to noon every Wednesday at a location courtesy of Hamilton Township. The group offers support for athome mothers and opportunities for socializing.  The Horsemen’s Association of Millstone Township will hold its monthly meeting on May 19 at 7 p.m. at the Millstone Community Center, Stagecoach Road (next to the firehouse). This month the association is featuring a farrier as the guest speaker. Anyone who has questions about when to shoe a horse, go barefoot or use boots, this is the opportunity to expand one’s knowledge of the topic.  Emley’s Hill United Methodist Church historical service will take place at 9:30 a.m. May 17 at the church, 69 Emley’s Hill Road, Cream Ridge. The church will celebrate 225 years on the hill with a service as it would have been conducted in the 1790s. Food will be provided. Details: 609-758- 2166.

 The 2015 Hidden Gardens Tour, featuring gardens in Allentown and surrounding areas, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 13. Advance tickets are available for $15 at the Allentown Public Library, 16 S. Main St., Allentown, or at the website www.AllentownGardenClub.net.

Tickets will be available until 12:30 p.m. on the day of the tour for $20 at Keris Tree Farm, 842 Route 524, Allentown.

 The Millstone Township Open Space and Farmland Preservation Council and the Agricultural Advisory Council will host the ninth annual clambake fundraiser 1-5:30 p.m. June 7 at Wagner Farm Park, 4 Baird Road, Millstone Township. Limited tickets are available and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children, if purchased by May 22. Lobster is not included for children’s ticket price.  The Allentown Lions Club will host a Memorial Day parade beginning at 10 a.m. May 25 at the corner of North Main Street and Allen Drive, proceeding south through Allentown, turning onto High Street and finishing at the Upper Freehold Regional School District complex. Grand Marshal Dan Morgan will lead the 2015 Memorial Day Parade. The parade will be followed by a memorial service.
