Weichert Workforce Mobility Inc., one of the world’s leading providers of mobile workforce management solutions, announces that it has completed its acquisition of Allegiance Relocation Services, a highly respected GSA Schedule 48 supplier of comprehensive relocation management, move management and property management services.
For Weichert, this acquisition represents a new and exciting customer segment that allows the company to deliver its awardwinning customer service and workforce mobility solutions to government agencies and departments, and their relocating employees.
Since its founding in 1998, Allegiance Relocation Services has built a reputation for excellence within the government services market, providing a broad suite of relocation services to employees and families deployed by such agencies as the Department of Homeland Security, NASA, the U.S. .Department of Agriculture, the Department of the Interior, the Bureau of Census, The U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission. Going forward, Allegiance will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Weichert Workforce Mobility and maintain its headquarters in Woodbridge, Va.
“Through this acquisition, we’re combining two established and respected brands to create a stronger and more compelling value proposition for the government sector — a value proposition based on industryleading service and thought-leadership,” said Aram Minnetian, president of Weichert Workforce Mobility. “By leveraging the Weichert Companies, we can provide Allegiance’s clients and customers with even deeper subject matter expertise, supplychain acumen, and advisory services that will foster great service experiences and the effective deployment of talent.”
“This acquisition will also expand and deepen our pool of mobility talent, while providing a broader range of career and professional development opportunities for our colleague base.”
Allegiance executives Tim Bonette and Peggy Pastore will remain with the company in key senior leadership positions. Bonette will serve as the vice president of Government Services while Pastore will serve as Government CFO. Bonette and Pastore will report directly to Dave Bencivengo, executive vice president of Weichert’s Corporate Mobility and Government Market segments. “For our clients, this is a win-win proposition. They can rely on being served by the same team of professionals who can now draw on a deeper shared services bench, an in-house consulting and advisory group, state of the art technology and a large credit facility,” said Bonette. “I believe that as a subsidiary of Weichert Workforce Mobility, we will create a powerful platform for future growth, above and beyond our stand alone potential, and create the pre-eminent, preferred supplier of government relocation, household goods and property management services.
