Princeton High School on lockdown after ‘swatting’ call (Developing)

By Lea Kahn, Staff Writer
Princeton High School went into lock-down Thursday morning, following a “generalized threat (call) over the phone,” similar to the recent threats received by schools and businesses in Princeton, according to the Princeton Police Department.
The call was received at 9:37 a.m. The Princeton Police Department is coordinating efforts with the school district to keep the students safe by sheltering in place, and by increasing police patrols at Princeton High School and schools throughout the town.
If it is determined that there are no public safety issues at Princeton High School, it would be the third “swatting” call to be reported to the Princeton Police Department this week. On Tuesday, police investigated “swatting” calls at the Johnson Park Elementary School and at a residence on Jefferson Road.
