The following is a list of activities being offered through the Nature Center at Washington Crossing State Park, Titusville.
Some programs are offered without registration requirements; some will require advanced registration as indicated below.
A fee of $5 per car will be charged to motor vehicles entering the park on weekends and holidays May 23 to Sept. 7. All programs initially will meet at the Nature Center unless otherwise indicated.
Attendance is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
In the event of inclement weather, some programs might be canceled. It is advisable to call ahead before coming out. Contact the center for information at 737-0609.
Hopewell Valley Come Outside and Play, a pond study for all ages, will be held June 11 from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m.
Children will use pond nets to collect and examine the various organisms that inhabit the pond. Meet at the pond by the park service entrance off Church Road in Titusville.
Spring and summer birds of the park for all ages will be held June 13 at 8:30 a.m.
Join Franta Broulik of the Washington Crossing Audubon Society to peruse the park for spring and summer resident bird species. The group will meet at the Nature Center.
