 The Jackson Township Democratic Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday (June 17) of every month, unless otherwise noted, at Bella Terra, 2 Kathleen Drive, Jackson. All are welcome to attend the meeting.

 The Friends of the Plumsted Township Library, 119 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, will collect books on the first Saturday of the month (June 6) 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April through October for future book sales. Fiction, nonfiction, large print, children’s books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and jigsaw puzzles are accepted. Do not donate soiled or mildewed items. Videotapes, Reader’s Digest condensed books, magazines and encyclopedias are not accepted. Drop books off behind the Plumsted Township Library. Do not leave items if no one is present.
