PHOTO COURTESY OF AMERICAN LEGION POST 253 Members of American Legion Post 253 have been sending care packages to a minimum of 15 deployed soldiers each month since November. At the Spotswood Memorial Day Parade on May 25, Cub Scout Pack 35 pulled wagons to help collect donations for the program. A collection box is located in the bar area of Post 253, Devoe Avenue, Spotswood. Care-package donors may also call 732-991-9507 to schedule a pickup.
