Thomas Donovan, manager of the Weichert, Realtors Middletown office, announces that his office will be participating in the upcoming Middletown Relay for Life event on June 6 from 2 p.m. to midnight at Middletown High School North.
The signature event, organized by the American Cancer Society, will include a noncompetitive overnight relay-style walk where participants and survivors celebrate what they have overcome, remember people lost to the disease and honor people who have fought or are fighting cancer. Teams are asked to have at least one representative walking around the track at all times to symbolize the fact that “cancer never rests.” In addition to the relay, participants can expect a night full of activities, music and games.
“My team and I are honored to participate in an event that brings our community together in a safe, fun filled way,” Donovan said. “In line with the Weichert culture, we are privileged to support an organization that works so diligently to help those fighting this devastating disease.”
